Life has been very busy.
I was blessed with a new grandson on the 12/5/2014
A new brother for Eden
I now have two beautiful grand children and they are the so precious
Eden is now 2 years old
Rhys 3 months old
I have been neglecting my leather a bit, and haven't updated my website
because I have been getting lots of cuddles from these two lol.
Did ok at The Royal Easter Show this year with a 1st place/3rd place and a highly commended.
Have been trying a few new leathers stingray and fishskin and have some crocodile to make belts.
I have a few orders to get on with so I'm heading off now to hopefully have a productive afternoon.

On the 16/6/2012 I have had my web page for 1 year.
I have now had
Page Views 10187
Thank you all so much for your support.
It has exceeded all my expectations.
I started it as I found myself lost without Dean when he left for England and thought I would try and get my business up and running too keep my self busy.
When I do leatherwork I lose myself of hours as I concentrate on creating what ever I'm making. So take warning, he leaves again at the end of June for another year so be prepared for a lot of new items lol.
I will be at the Dreamers Market on 1/9/12 at Parramatta Riverside Theatre.
I am hoping to create some new jewellery pieces and can't wait to start.
My shoulder surgery has been successful and is progressing nicely although still painful.
I did a little bit of leatherwork yesterday and was very pleased with the result so won't be long till I'm back at it 24/7 lol can't wait.
On the family front I am so excited.
My son Dean is due in at 5am Tuesday for a 3 week visit . It's been a long year without any hugs from him.
Erin my daughter is due anyday now with my first grandchild .
My eldest son Gavin has just got home safe and sound from a trip to the snow.
So on a whole what else could a mum ask for I am extremly happy and can't wait to hug Dean and meet my grandchild.

Just thought I'd update on my progress after having shoulder surgery.
Doctor says all went well and I now have my arm out of sling and am able to do alot more but no lifting.
I am having Physio and although painful am coming along nicely.
My eldest son Gavin, my daughter Erin, son in law James and my husband Steve have all been taking excellent care of me.
I walk into my leatherwork room and smell the leather and so want to pick up tools and create.
On the positive side while I haven't been able to use my arm I have been using my mind to create and hopefully I will get a whole new range of jewellery made soon. I can see it in my mind and am busting to get started. Another couple of weeks and I will be able to start easing my way back into creating again, can't wait.
My daughter is due to give birth too my first grandchild in about 3 weeks ,so excited.
Erin is looking positively radiant and everthing is going along perfectly.
My son Dean who has been in England for a year is coming home for three weeks in June to see the baby . I have missed him so much . I will think I'm in heaven being able to hug him and my grandchild.
So with all the personal events going on in my life at the moment and the healing time necessary for my shoulder , July 1st- my birthday is a good date to aim for too return too my leatherwork fulltime again.
I have applied to be considered for a stall at a markets starting 1st September so hopefully I will be successful . It will feature only handmade items so great exposure for me and my craft and hopefully lots of sales .
Thankyou to all that have placed orders for your patience and understanding. I will be back stronger than ever real soon.

Well it's been awhile
I have had shoulder surgery, according to the Dr it has all gone well.
No chance of doing any leatherwork as my right arm has been in a sling for just over 2 weeks and another 4 weeks to go. I am bored silly and itching to create .
It is possible that it will be at least 6 months before I can start doing it again.
A bit depressing.
On a happier note the birth of my first grandchild is fast approaching only around 10 weeks to go. My daughter, Erin is doing extremely well and baby's heart beat is strong.
I don't think I can describe how I feel about the fact that my youngest son Dean is coming home for a visit and too meet his new nephew or niece. I haven't seen him since last June. I've booked his flight so now it seems so much closer. Can't wait for June.
I put a few entries in the Royal Easter Show but unfortunately no prizes. Never mind ,shoulder injury has made it very hard for quite awhile so i'll try and do better next year when I'm all healed.
Typing left handed is very slow so I'll finish now but will keep you updated as to when I can take orders again.
Wishing you all a very happy and safe Easter.

I am sorry that I haven't posted any new items but I have been sick and as a consequence of this the operation on my shoulder has now been postponed to the 20th March.
I can now take orders until the middle of March so if you see anything you like or have a design that you would like on any leather item please let me know.
Leather Art by Janelle is now taking custom orders.

Another year, 2012 is here .
I had a very quite New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
My husband , Steve and our son Gavin left just after the new year had dawned to go out on the boat fishing. Caught a couple of keepers and alot of the too small variety, got sunburnt and returned home around 8pm just in time to enjoy a meal with me, my daughter Erin and son-in-law James. Thank you Erin and James the meal was excellent.
My son Dean rang from England at 5am and it was good to hear him, we are all missing him so much.
Yesterday Erin and I went shopping and brought curtain material for the baby's room , June seems so far away but as usual I guess the year will fly by.
My niece Megan and husband Ando are in Paris at the moment, enjoying their holiday.
January Birthdays in my family.
Happy Birthday to my nephews Stuart,Raymond and Brenton .My niece Megan and the 1st birthday of my great niece Matilda.
Dean will be 26 on the 12/1/12 , it will be the first one we haven't been together.
Tandy Leather are having their store opening from 18th to 21st with demonstrations from Tony Laier and Charlie Davenport . I am really looking forward to this.
I am booked to have an operation on the 24/1/12 to re-attach the tendon in my right shoulder, not happy but am looking forward to being able to move my arm without pain.(eventually)
At this stage I will have it in a sling for six weeks.
Well that's my January 2012.
Don't forget to drop by my for sale page if you are looking for a unique handmade, handcarved leather and painted gift .
I will be posting some new items soon.
I am now going too finish some orders.
